Net safety is essential for the well-being and safety of the children within the early childhood setting. At Mātauranga Childcare Centre the teaching team have ensured the safety of your children. This means we have had professional leaders of ICT come into the centre to set up the blog effectively, which includes policies and producers surrounding the use of the internet within the centre setting. The ICT team have also place in place fire walls, therefore the children cannot be exposed to inappropriate materials while on the centre computer. As many of our parents/caregivers know we will be asking for your permission before we place any photos or learning stories of your children onto the centre blog. The purpose of this blog is to enhance, extend and build relationships with children, families, whanau and the wider community, therefore strengthen and facilitating reciprocal and responsive relationships.
