Whanua day:

Dress up day! Come along as your favorite fairy or wizard.
As a result of an ongoing interest surrounding fairies and wizards within the centre environment the teachers at Mātauranga Childcare Centre have organised a Whānua day to involve parents and Whānua in the interest Team leader Awa has organised Trixie the fairy and Wally the wizard to come and perform a show for the children at 11:20am followed by a shared lunch at approximately 12:00pm.
We have invited parents and whānua to share this wonderful day with us! Please feel free to dress up if you wish and bring along the whānua!
The teachers and children have organised the food for the shared lunch using fruit and vegetables from our very own garden.
